Viridine - Producer of VBio Biodiesel Fuel

We produce and sell Biodiesel, which is the name of a clean burning, renewable diesel fuel replacement made from vegetable oils or animal fats. The methyl ester of vegetable oil or what we now call Biodiesel is very similar to the petrochemical based diesel fuel that it replaces, and so does not require any vehicle or storage modifications.

viridine bio diesel - environmentally friendly fuel

The concept of using vegetable oil as a fuel dates back to 1895 when Dr. Rudolf Diesel developed the first diesel engine to run on vegetable oil. He demonstrated his engine at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900 and described an experiment using peanut oil as fuel in his engine.

Biodiesel is one of the most thoroughly tested alternative fuels on the market. Studies have been performed by the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Stanadyne Automotive Corp. (the largest diesel fuel injection equipment manufacturer in the U.S.), Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute, and Southwest Research Institute. In fact over 50 million miles have been expended in testing biodiesel during the course of this research.

Currently Viridine VBio Biodiesel fuel is available in quantities of 100 litres upwards. For further details and additional information, please contact us
